Happy New Year Baseball & Softball Families!
We're looking forward to a great year in 2024 and have a lot of improvements in the pipeline. In 2023, we had some great successes:
- Our Majors Baseball All Stars won the New England Championship and played in the Little League World Series (Congratulations!)
- We upgraded Penney field to be a mini-Fenway Park with it's own Green Monster and made it multi-purpose so both baseball and softball players can play at "Pennway"
- If you didn't see it featured on ESPN during the World Series run - check it out HERE
We are looking for coaches for all ages - Check out Coaches Corner for more info and to sign-up
What's in the pipeline for 2024...
We're proud to bring our players professionally coached clinics for Little League ages 7+ starting in mid-January. For $10/session (4 sessions for $30), we have professional coaches helping run our winter clinics this season. Click here for dates/times and locations
On the softball side, July Roy, a former Division 1 pitcher and pitching coach for Colby College (https://colbyathletics.com/sports/softball/roster/coaches/julie-roy/46) will lead pitching clinics for our ages 9-12 softball players. Click here for more info
On the baseball side, Matt Rogers (Maine Hall of Fame and Bowdoin baseball assistant coach) will host hitting and fielding sessions with the help of current and former college baseball players. Click here for more info
In other areas, we'll be refurbishing Intervale Field with new dugouts, a new backstop and other improvements. We're also working on improving our equipment (lawn tractors, advanced drags, etc.) in time for the season.
