No regular season play required

3-6 practices will be held on weekday evenings in June/July with the goal of assessing players and determining lineups.  Players are asked to attend at least 3 practices

Must have played Little League for Portland LL or G·NG·R Little League within the last 4 years

Portland and G·NG·R will each provide 7 players to the team

If more than 7 players from a league sign up, the coaches will select 7 from the list for each side.  Depending on the numbers, a tryout may be held.

Coached by Nate Stone, Brian Bechard and additional coaches from Gray and Portland

There is no guaranteed playing time on this team

Lineups will be 9 batters as selected by the coaching staff

Non-starters may or may not see playing time depending on the number of games and/or on-field situations

Must sign up by May 1, 2025

Final confirmation will be  ay 15.  The roster will be published and players will be asked to confirm their committment.

Practices will be held on weekdays in July.  Players must attend 3 practices to be eligible for on field play.

We will likely need to play (and win) the state tournament in Bangor, ME.

• Sate Tournament July 8 - July 11 (possibly shorter if there are fewer than 4 teams)

Regional is in Bangor

• Families can drive up and down daily or rent hotels

World Series in Easley, South Carolina

• Transportation and housing for players and coaches is provided by Little League International

  • Parents & fans will have to provide their own accommodations and travel

  • We'll run fundraisers to help with expenses, but it may be difficult due the compressed time between the regional and World Series
