Baseball Winter Clinics 2024
Baseball Winter Clinics
Matt Rogers (Maine Hall of Fame and Bowdoin baseball assistant coach) will host hitting and fielding sessions with the help of current and former college baseball players. Kids will get to meet some college players and get instruction from Matt and the players in all areas of the game. The focus will be on hitting techniques and all around play (fielding, hitting, and throwing). Space is limited. Ages 7-16.
These sessions will be run by college coaches & players. Coaches Jenson & Rogers are both Bowdoin baseball assistant coaches (pitching & hitting) and members of the Maine Baseball Hall of Fame. Nate Rogers and Chris Cimino are former Class A All-Conference players at Cheverus High School and currently senior captains at Saint Michael’s College & Bates College respectively. We may have some other players and coaches helping each week also.
These sessions will be active, fun and productive. The goal will be to give every player something positive as well as something to work on while they learn something each time. We will also show the kids & parents some fun things to do on their own to get better.
